Update Your Galaxy S GT I9000 With Stable Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware

How To Update C-RoM TeaM Jelly BeaN in Galaxy S GT I9000:

Make sure your Samsung Galaxy S GT I9000 is rooted before starting the process. There is an application called “Root Checker” which can be downloaded to check for the same. This app is available in Google Play Store.

Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware package is available in Google Apps Package for the Galaxy S GT devices. You can download this to your computer and then connect Galaxy S GT device to your computer. Make sure to use the original USB wire and transfer the 2 zip files to your mobile.

After placing the zip files in the mobile device, you can disconnect and turn off the same. The device will now enter in to the recovery mode.

You can enter in to the recovery mode by pressing the volume up key, center button simultaneously along with pressing the Power Button. Make sure to enter the mobile only in the recovery mode or you can try this process repeatedly to get it correctly.

Once it enters the recovery mode, you can select “Wipe data/factory reset” option. You can also select “Wipe Cache Partition” and then you can reboot the device with the volume control key functions. The complete cache information will be erased off from your device.

Select “install zip from sd card”: You can “choose zip from sd card” and then select the Jellybean 4.1.1 firmware bundle. Now select Google Apps Package to click “YES” option with the help of volume rocker keys and menu button. It usually takes 5 to 7 minutes to apply the changes. Select “Go Back” once the update is over and then select “Reboot System Now” option in the recovery mode.

NOTE: Just in case if the mobile device fails to turn on or hangs up displaying the Samsung Logo for a long time, you can long press the power button to turn off the device and to remove the battery. Now repeat the process again.
