Best 5 Friendly-Budget Tablets 2021

It appears that the tablet market is growing in popularity as many individuals still work or study from home, and a tablet comes in handy in these scenarios. But if that’s not the case for you,  a nice tablet is a terrific addition if you prefer to read a lot online or even simply web browsing. If you’re worried that you’d have to break your bank in order to afford an excellent tablet then fret not – these are the best 5 tablets that will do you and your wallet just fine.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1

Among the Samsung Galaxy Tab series, series A is one of the lower-cost tablets in the market and yet, it performs admirably. Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, this 2019 tablet from Samsung has 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of expandable memory and it is powered by Exynos 7904A CPU. You’ll get a 10.1-inch HD display with Dolby Atmos surround sound, making it ideal for watching your favourite movies and TV shows.  A is one of the lower-cost tablets in the market and yet, it performs admirably. You’ll get a 10.1-inch HD display with Dolby Atmos surround sound, making it ideal for watching your favourite movies and TV shows.

The tablet is also equipped with an 8MP back camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, along with an amazing 13-hour battery life –  you wouldn’t even have to worry about charging it all the time. This is the go-to for affordable Android tablets since it is lightweight and robust, and it is still popular in 2021.

Lenovo Smart Tab M10

If you simply use your tablet for light everyday tasks then this Lenovo Tab M10 is the tablet for you. This tablet is known for being family friendly, as it includes features that are suitable for children while still containing such high-quality hardware. It is powered by a mid-range MediaTek P22T chipset and has up to 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The tablet gets even better with its non-reflective Full HD display etched with plenty of brightness, leaving you a perfect device to watch your TV shows on.

The Lenovo Tab M10 offers a good audio experience thanks to its dual speakers that support Dolby Atmos. However, the MediaTek chipset embedded inside the tablet may fall short when you’re multitasking or running many background apps at the same time.

Apple iPad 9th Generation

Although an array of Apple products may be a bit too expensive, the Apple iPad 9th Generation comes with a much cheaper price than any of its predecessors, making it one of the best options to get. The new iPad is powered by Apple’s powerful A13 Bionic chip, which provides a 20% performance gain compared to the previous model. As a result, the new iPad is 6 times faster than the most popular Android tablet.

To enhance the user experience, the iPad includes a 12MP Ultra-wide front camera and an 8MP rear camera. Aside from that, this tablet has a 10.2-inch Retina display with True Tone, which adapts the screen content to the colour temperature of the room, making the display appear more natural.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite

Another one of Samsung’s best budget tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite steals the spotlight with the same slim, sleek look as its more expensive variant, the Galaxy Tab S6. The Tab S6 Lite comes with a beautiful 10.4-inch with a 2000×1200 resolution display, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage. This tablet may be a bit pricier to be compared to the other Samsung and Lenovo tables but the excellent functionality which includes the S Pen stylus, USB-C connectivity, and a premium build quality and a whole 13-hour battery life makes up for it.

It is built with a decent 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera which is situated right on the top-left corner. The bezel that surrounds the screen is relatively thin, especially when compared to the iPad 9th Generation and Galaxy Tab A 10, which may appeal to some. The tablet has a good-sized screen without feeling unduly huge in the hand thanks to the low screen-to-body ratio.

Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus

The Amazon Fire HD tablet line-up has been updated and now offers faster performance without breaking the bank. The 2021 Fire HD 10 is available in two versions: basic and Plus, with the former costing slightly less than the latter. The tablet sports a 10.1-inch LCD touchscreen that is a bit brighter than its predecessor and, unlike the iPad, it is optimised for movie watching due to its widescreen ratio. The new Fire HD 10 portrays the same slimmed-down and rounded design as the 8-inch Fire HD 8 from last year, making it look much more modern.

The screen is reasonable in terms of sharpness, viewing angles, and brightness indoors, though the downside is that it suffers in full sunlight. The top-mounted speakers are adequate for watching movies and it features the same chipset as the normal Fire HD 10, but with an additional 1GB of RAM for a total of 4GB.  If you love playing mobile games, a dedicated gaming mode optimises the tablet by turning off other running background applications.
