YuppTV , Internet Pay TV and On demand service provider for South Asian Content mainly for the abroad staying Indians over Internet. YuppTV launches YuppTV Originals in 2017 after the great development of the YuppTV launched in 2006 for content delivery.
Superstar Mahesh Babu, YuppTV’s brand ambassador launched YuppTV Originals. On congratulating YuppTV he also said, “I am confident that YuppTV Originals will have wide reach, and recommend artists and visionaries from the industry to make use of this opportunity to showcase their creative pursuits and could content instantly with the internet audience”.
At the launch, YuppTV founder and CEO, Uday Reddy said, “We disrupted the entertainment sector with technology launching YuppTV in 2006, Now with YuppTV Originals, we aim to disrupt the content space, focusing on the needs of our evolving audience, and with vision of providing high quality content.”
YuppTV Originals initially focus on the regional content in episodic format, with future scope of film production. To produce first few web series , YuppTV associated with some popular production houses.
The content partners namely are:
- iCandy Creations (by Deva Katta).
- TrendLoud (Chidambaram as CEO).
- Swapna Dutt’s Early Morning Tales – a division of Vijayanthi Movies.
- Madhura Entertainment and Tamada Media(Founder is Rahul Tamada ).
The first Originals mini-series, Endukila, presented by Deva Katta iCandy Creations, Written and directed by Laxman Karya will be launched during Ugadi. Sumanth Ashwin and Yamini lead artists in this series. This will be followed by another web series produced by Swapna Dutt’s Early Morning Tales – a division of Vijayanthi Movies and director Supervision by Nandini Reddy.
