The Machines Needed in a Fabrication Company

A fabrication company should have the right tools to deliver tangible results. The tools implemented in a job determine the quality of results. Let’s take a look at the machines that should never miss in a fabrication company.

Hydraulic Press Brakes

The press brakes offer versatility and accuracy when bending complex and straightforward metal parts. Press brakes posses multiple axes and are made with a different wide range of tonnages and lengths. For small shops that wish to improve on their efficiency when bending Hydraulic press brake is the tool that is required.

The tool is usually fully welded and designed for maximum rigidity. There is minimal deformation involved when bending. There is a heavy-duty torque tube that links a pair of hydraulic cylinders so that they remain parallel to the bending table.

Swing-beam shears

The machine is cost-effective. It’s an ideal cutting solution. Additionally, it’s fast to set up and effortless to implement. Different types of shears offer different metal cutting capabilities. A swing beam shear is a hydraulic tool. The upper beam of the machine hinges on a pivot at the center of the side frames.

The tool is a robust, heavy-duty machine that is designed to withstand thick cutting material. Technology is advancing at a fast pace. Many fabrication companies have already started using lasers and plasma to cut metal. However, in most cases, a swing-beam shear is still needed. A shear is a staple in numerous fabrication stores. This is a versatile piece of equipment that never misses in a metal fabrication work. The machine saves on cost, energy, labor, and time. The ironworker has five working stations that are entirely integrated. They include;

  1. Punch work table that entails an Adjustable stop and Back gauge.
  2. An adjustable transparent Punch stripper used for easy and fast set up.
  3. Die holder, which is flexible in machined T-slots for the fast die and punch alignment.
  4. Support Table, which entails guides for precise positioning. It also has indicator lines drawn at 30 and 45 degrees right and left.
  5. Adjustable hold-down-It maintains the workpiece securely in one position.

Plate Rolls

These machines are designed to efficiently and quickly transform a flat piece of metal into a radius or cylindrical parts. There are both hydraulic and mechanical plate rolls. They range in lengths and diameters.

A three-roll variable axis plate roll is accurate, faster, safe, and productive than other roll benders. Additionally, they have user-friendly controls, which make the machine less dependent on the competence of the operator. The device is suitable for thick and medium plate bending. It functions differently from the typical cylinder machines.

When working, the side rolls move to approach the upper rolls. The upper rolls then apply enough pressure to the plate that is placed on the top. The sufficient pressure allows the pre-bending of the plate without ejecting it from the machine. The tool has gaps that are adjustable to maximum levels, giving enough room for thick plates to bend effortlessly to smaller diameters but with wide angles.

Profile rolls

The profile rolls never miss in a fabrication company. It’s used for bending pipes, metal tubes, beams, or channels. It’s fast and easy to use. Profile roll is an ideal machine for structural steel fabrication. The giant machine frame is made of rugged steel that is put together after welding for rigidity. The welds on the machine are fixed to stress relieve before machining.

The large shaft diameters and precision bearings decrease deflection for accurate-bending. The machine is long-lasting due to its sturdy frame and top-notch electrical and hydraulic components.

The short cycle patterns are achieved by a reliable torque drive system and speed. A straight edge is balanced by a close roll stance and a powerful hydraulic adjustment and guide rolls. Flat spots are also balanced due to the closeness in rolls. The machine has a low maintenance cost and uses minimal energy.

Horizontal Band Saws

The machine offers a wide-range portfolio of saws. It’s implemented in a wide variety of operations. The tool is correctly designed to meet the needs of a fabrication company.
