SSC CPO Exam

The exam for the CPO is conducted by SSC. The full form of SSC CPO is Staff Service Commission Central Police Organization. This exam is conducted to recruit candidates for various posts under the Central Police Force like Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

SSC CPO Exam Pattern:

The SSC CPO Exam is conducted in 4 stages-

1. Paper I
2. Physical Endurance Test/Physical Standard Test
3. Paper II
4. Medical Examination

The last process is the selection which is done after the successful verification of documents.

The Physical Test is done for candidates who qualify for the paper I.

SSC CPO Syllabus:

The SSC CPO syllabus comprises of various topics related to the General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension. Candidates must be thorough with the topics involved in all these subjects.

SSC CPO Eligibility:

 The Eligibility for the SSC CPO is as follows:-

Nationality	●     Must be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan. ●     Migrated candidates should have necessary citizenship documents from the Govt. of India.
Age Limit	●     Minimum – 20 years ●     Maximum 25 years
Qualification	●     Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University/Institute

There is a certain age relaxation for a reserved group of candidates like SC, ST, OBC, Women, etc.

Candidates who qualify for the Paper I are eligible for the Physical tests. The Physical Tests are to assess the candidates’ body structure and endurance. The test would comprise of Height, Chest requirements, jumping & running skills, etc.

SSC CPO Notification:

The SSC CPO Notification will include every single detail related to the exam for the SSC CPO. This year the exam might take place in the month of December. The official notification gives an idea on the vacancies, salary, preferable exam dates and centres, admit card, the application process in depth.
